Birmingham City Football Club is a professional football club in Birmingham, Britain. Shaped in 1875 as Little Heath Partnership, it was renamed Little Heath in 1888, Birmingham in 1905, and Birmingham City in 1943.[7] Beginning around 2011, the principal group have contended in the EFL Championship, the second level of English football.
As Small Heath, they played in the Football Coalition prior to becoming organizer individuals and first bosses of the Football League Second Division. The best time frame in their set of experiences was during the 1950s and mid 1960s. They accomplished their most noteworthy completing place of 6th in the Primary Division in the 1955-56 season and arrived at the 1956 FA Cup Last. Birmingham played in two Between Urban communities Fairs Cup finals, in 1960, as the primary English club side to arrive at a significant European last, and again the next year. They won the League Cup in 1963 and again in 2011. Birmingham have played in the top level of English football for around half of their set of experiences: the longest period spent external the top division, somewhere in the range of 1986 and 2002, remembered two brief spells for the third level of English football, during which time they won the Football League Trophy two times.
St Andrew's has been their home ground beginning around 1906. They have a well established and furious contention with Aston Manor, their closest neighbors, with whom they play the Second City derby. The club's moniker is Blues, after the shade of their pack, and the fans are known as Bluenoses.
